Finally, an Update

I leave for Australia the day after tomorrow. I am close to being packed, and I was lucky enough to bum both a ride from the airport and a couch for the night off a friend in Cairns. Now this blog actually begins. I will try to throw pictures on here every now and again, and update often enough that no one gets too worried. I am excited for this adventure though, truth be told, I have absolutely no idea what will happen.

Visa Granted

I just got notification that my Work and Vacation Visa has been granted. This is a new blog for my new experiences in Australia, and I hope to update this fairly often. I will pass along my leave date as soon as I book the ticket and finalize my plans, and as of now I am looking to fly out early to mid October. Wish me luck.
